Designed specifically for the Forest Service, Department of Agriculture, our Type 496 muffler features a revolutionary longer aluminum body construction with impermeable internal packing.  The canister is lined with special packing layers, and utilizes baffles and chambers for maximum sound disbursement and more power.  The Type 496 offers impressive horsepower increases when compared to the OEM silencer and creates the ultimate all legal, low maintenance four-stroke muffler.  The aluminum round can and stainless steel mid pipe provide a secure fit while the engineering provides the noise level to legal dB while offering a seamless option for off-road riders in need of a quiet silencer.
